8 Days Kenya Air Safari
Day 1 - Arrival in Nairobi
Pick up at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer to Weston Hotel for overnight. If your arrival is in the morning hours you have the opportunity to explore Nairobi on a sightseeing tour, you can do a city safari in Nairobis National Park or visit the United Nations Headquarter for a tour and more.
Day 2 - Nairobi - Amboseli
Short transfer from Weston Hotel to the domestic Wilson airport and flight to Amboseli. Transfer from the airstrip to the hotel for check in and lunch. Take a swim in the pool or have a short rest before your afternoon game drive starts. Explore the park and see large herds of elephants, as well as other game animals like zebras, giraffes and many more with Mount Kilimanjaro providing a beautiful background (coming out of the clouds during sunset and sunrise). Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 3 - Full day Amboseli
Morning game drive and afternoon game drive with lunch at the lodge.
Visit the observation hill offering spectacular 360 degrees views throughout the park with its arid areas, marshes and lakes, and on a clear day Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 4 - Amboseli - Samburu
Early morning game drive - it offers the opportunity to find predators either hunting or feeding on their prey. Transfer to the airstrip, flight to Nairobi and onward flight to Samburu. Transfer from the airstrip to the camp for check in and lunch. Take a dip in your plunge pool or relax and watch elephants passing the river bank before your afternoon game drive starts. In addition to the usual safari animal sightings, you'll also have the chance to spot the Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, long-necked Gerenuk and Grevy's Zebra - the famous Northern Special Five. Dinner and overnight at Elephant Bedroom Camp
Day 5 - Full day Samburu
Morning game drive and afternoon game drive with lunch at the camp. Enjoy a sundowner by the river and watch the stunning sunset. Dinner and overnight at Elephant Bedroom Camp.
Day 6 - Samburu - Mara
Last early morning game drive in Samburu then fly either directly to Masai Mara or fly to Nairobi and onwards to Masai Mara. (Lunch either taken in Nairobi or in Masai Mara). Afternoon game drive in the Mara. Guests can expect to encounter large numbers of animals year round, with big herds of elephant, buffalo and other plains game. It is also common to see predator interaction. Dinner and overnight Mara Siria Camp
Day 7 - Full day Masai Mara
Enjoy a full day game drive with pinic in the Masai Mara in search of Kenyas Big Five lion, elephant, rhino, buffallo and leopard. Dinner and overnight Mara Siria Camp
Day 8 - Mara Morning Game Drive - Return back to Nairobi
Early morning game drive with greatest chances to see predators hunting or feeding on their prey. Take a flight back to Nairobi.
