Enjoy a safari at the Queen Elizabeth National Park, the scenic varied national park in Uganda with an impressive variety of wild animals

Day One – Queen Elizabeth National Park | Mweya Safari Lodge

After your arrival in Kampala you will be welcomed by your guide and driven to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will make a stop at the Equator for photos or buying some souvenirs. After lunch at Lake View Hotel in Mbarara you pass through the East African Rift Valley, before reaching the Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the evening enjoy a game-drive. The Queen Elizabeth National Park comprises an area of approximately 1978 km² with a stunning panoramic view into the Rift Valley with Lake Edward and Lake George. Around 95 different mammals together with 615 bird species can be found in the park. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day Two – Queen Elizabeth National Park | Mweya Safari Lodge

Enjoy an early morning coffee or tea at 06:30 hours before you leave for a morning game drive to the Northern part of the park along the Kasenyi Route. This is the best opportunity to spot wild cats in action. You will have lunch at the lodge after the game drive. In the afternoon you will leave for a boat trip on the Kazinga Canal to observe lonely buffalos, hippos and other animals at the range of the canal. There are also European migrating birds, like swallows and gulls gathering at the edge of the canal. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day Three - Kampala

After a relaxed breakfast, drive back to Kampala.
